Doctor Doctor

Before we get started, I just want to announce:

MY 100TH POST!

*SQUEAL*

Muahaha!

Ok, off the pedestal.

For the past few days, I've been staying at my cousin's place.

Pics taken with my awesome new 5800! =D

And being the type who's always on the go, my sis and I have been to Pavilion, KLCC, The Mall, The Curve and Waterfront in chronological order.

Dome at KLCC

La Casa at Waterfront

Look at all those bottles lining the bottom, the ceiling is lined with them too!

It's been fun, but I've been off homework for a few days and I think my brain got a little rusty. Plus, a break once in a while is nice.

BEETEEDOUBLEYEW, I did an injection today.

For my cousin, Gaik, who's trying to get a baby boy. But no pics, the area was too exposed for that.

FYI, at my cousin's house, normal sleeping hours are from 3am-11am.

So at 9am this morning, our roles respectively were:

Gaik: Get ready everything from the swab to the needle.
Wake me up.
Look away while I injected it in.
Clear everything up.
Go back to sleep.

Me: Blurrily take the needle and poke it into the flesh.
Inject the stuff in slowly.
Pull needle out.
Go back to sleep.

Sis: Set alarm at 9am and wake up just to watch.
Watch.
Go back to sleep.

Fuyoh, I can be doctor already!

No lah, I thought I'd be nervous but it was okay actually. Kinda exciting, until the drops of blood flowed out. Then I jumped back into my covers.

Sometimes, I feel that driving calms me.

My mum can shout at all the drivers on the road and even at me and my sister but I can still talk back to her calmly when I'm driving.

Maybe because I know what a big risk driving is.

And I can drive better than her when she's stressed too. I can keep a cool head. xD

She's gonna kill me when she reads this. -.-

I've done 2 tags and will do another 1 now. Gosh, I need a life.

Dr.,

~*JJ*~

P.S.: I effing BROKE MY NAIL!

Pinky fingernail summore!

Those who has seen my nails will know why I'm freaking out. Took me damn long to grow ok!

Great, seeing as I'm OCD and need everything to be uniformed, now I gotta go cut all my nails short as well.

&*#$@!*%!

P.P.S.: Going to Disney On Ice with my nieces this weekend.

Yup, that one =D

Oh well, at least it'll be like a flashback to childhood; I've always loved Sleeping Beauty.

Flutterby Butterfly

I loved today.

I got to enjoy this Friday the 13th with people I care about and love.

That superstition about Friday the 13th being bad luck is total hogwash. Oh darn, did I just jinx it again? Hehe... ^.^"

Anyways, we had our Bio field trip today to the Butterfly Park.

We saw quite a few species there but not all that we had hoped for.

Lone butterfly wing, sad...

Pupa! Can you spot the butterfly that had just broken out?

I spent the afternoon doing what I love and being with my friends.

And not forgetting our lecturer of course.

Lookit, it's on his head!

Our awesome Mr. -censored- who today wore a brightly-coloured shirt. The bufferflies simply loved it.

Still wouldn't go away.

I think Lee Wei has the video; it's dead hilarious watching someone fend off a horde of butterflies who seem to have some sort of Mr. -censored AGAIN- FC going on.

Sir also asked us to examine the flora, some of which were very lovely.

There were fish in the pond too, who all looked like they haven't eaten in 10 years, judging from the way they scrambled for the food Lee Wei and I threw in.

Facts about butterflies

How many butterflies were sacrificed to do that?

Lol, kidding! Sir said they were dead before they were put on display.

Stick insect

Baby stick insects were plastered to the glass wall. They were green and not brown.

Eh, not sure if I got permission to put up sir's face in here, so he's temporarily going to be a yellow smiley face.

Beetles wrestling

Man faced buggy! Cool, right?

Real man faced bugs on display

Horned frog, with the eggs stuck to the wall. Er, kinda looks grosser in the photo than real life.

Beautiful blues

Yuuuueeen! Why not in the pic?!

Chances are, Sam's playing his Pokemon game on his phone again. -.-

YY and I both got tattooes! Same spot summore!

Her's is spray though, huge ass scorpion.

Mine looks like this up close. Puny next to YY's.

I got the elusive YY to take pics with meeee~! Yay! *prances*

She told me she was so reluctant to take pics that her high school class actually had a game to see who could take the most pics with her! @.@

Later that night, the family went to Windmill for a celebratory dinner!

Victory!

My wonderful sister. We get into fights but we're still sisters, ya? =)

Random note: here's JB!

And here he is again after we grabbed him and wrestled him into a splayed position and tied his hair up coconut tree style!

I like my socks. =D

Friend sent me a super kyuuute email.

Baby bats!

Cute anot? =3

Thanks for the wonderdful day, guys. I'm really thankful for today.

Loves,

~*JJ*~

P.S.: Guess who owns this phone now?

Spazzed with YY already, now all of you too!

*squeeeaal*

Thanks to my generous cousin who saw fit to reward me despite my SPM results not being flawless.

In My Own World

And there I will stay till reality is over.

Though now I'm actually relatively calm for some reason. Surprise surprise to those who have seen me stress over exams before.

It's like the 'calm before the storm' stage. Do not disturb. Extremely volatile.

There is little more than half a day left, according to those wonderfully helpful friends who have put countdowns on their msn.

Remind me to bitch at them again later. :)

Experiment time again!

We've already viewed all sorts of cells, and they are totally cool/gross by the way! No pics, duh. Viewed them through microscope.

This time, we're supposed to observe the DNA of an onion.

First, heat up a water bath till 60 degree celcius.

Then, mix 10 ml detergent, 3 grams NaOH (it's basically salt, lol) and 100 ml distilled water.

Chop up an onion into teeny tiny pieces and dump the whole lot in.

Mix mix mix it, then put into the water bath.

Mine's the lower right one =D

15 minutes later, cool it in ice water while stirring.

After 5 mins, blend it for less than 5 seconds and filter about 10 ml into a boiling tube.

See that cool-looking watch?

Since the day I met him, Sam's watch has never seemed to work. It's perpetually stuck at 1 something. It's a nice watch though, no wonder he still wears it.

Add drops of protease and 10 ml ethanol slowly...

TADA! You get your DNA! Well, not yours, but the onion that you were butchering before.

It's that translucent, white filmy layer in the middle (not at the bottom).

I swirled it around abit and it gathered into this blob-like stringy bundle.

I gave the procedure in case anyone wants to attempt it on their own. Though where the hell you'd get protease I don't know.
Me in yellow and YY in white.
I feel so tall! *runs*

Today, I teman YY wear our Bitch shirts. Coz we are awesome. ;D

All the best to all,

~*JJ*~

P.S. : I'm reciting the procedure out of pure memory, with no reference whatsoever.

My Biology lecturer, who wishes to remain anonymous *coughlikesomecelebritylikethatcough*, should be proud. =D

Looking forward to the field trip!

ADDED:

Another hurdle over, on to the next! Gambatte, my friends!

=)

Waiting at Jo's house before the 'thrilling' car ride. Took from Kris' blog.

Simon, Doon, me and Jo at the side! Why didn't come into the pic, Jo?

Gratz to everyone,

Bittersweet

Long time no see, guys.

Went to watch Role Model today and bumped into Foo and Pok. I like Foo's hair better now. =D

Walked around Pyramid for a while after that. I didn't buy anything except for this cute pair of earrings. Ah well, at least the movie was good. And Seann William Scott is something to look at. ;D

But it didn't seem just PG 13 from some of the words they used, lol.

Oh by the way, congratz to Foo and the rest for winning Johan in Kawad Kaki! *claps*

Role Model was quite funny and the acting was good too.

But based on the recent movies, the best movie I had watched was Marley and Me. There were several touching moments, like Jenny's miscarriage and Marley's death. I seriously couldn't hold back the tears.

Go watch it!

My sister who watched said movie with me must have found the movie interesting too, or else she'd have been yawning halfway through the movie since we were watching the midnight show.

She, who usually doesn't cry (I think) admitted she found it hard to hold back her tears.

Even if you don't like dogs, watch it for Jennifer Aniston (who rocks so hard!).

My awesome friend (coz he wants me to mention how awesome he is AGAIN) gave me the book as a belated V Day gift, and again, I cried during the miscarriage. I really clicked with the author's style of writing.

Wow, 4 more days as many people keep reminding me. I am sooo not ready to face the music yet. It's gonna be horrendously sharp and painfully high-pitched.

Hm, its not that I miss Seafield alot, seeing as I still keep in touch with many of my good friends, but going back to visit it sure brings a pang of nostalgia.

There were so many memorable people and things there that it'll definitely be a part of my life forever.

Well, good luck to everyone else for Thursday!

>.<,

~*JJ*~

P.S. : Ronnie: 'Cuz I like boobies.' (lmao!)

Randomesque

That is a word!

At least I think it is....

Completely forgot what I wanted to blog about already (damn, CCBC getting worse!) so here are some photos to fill the space.

Chemistry experiment. That's poisonous nitric oxide fumes by the way.

Looks like tequila. Good enough to drink! But please don't do that.

I'm not in UCSI, my friend just uses her sister's lab coat

Add some sodium hydroxide....

Oh, eww. Not anymore.

Our dichotomous key thingys for Bio. YY's, mine, Lee Wei's then Sam's. Yes, only 4 of us in Bio.

Chem teacher copies exam notes on the whiteboard for us. But we all damn high-tech now, use phone take pic straightaway instead of copying manually.

Dinner at Rakuzen tonight again. Cousins were late and we were bored. As a result...

Camwhore sikit. But deleted most of the pics, lol.

Finished everything but the chawanmushi because I was too full by then.

Went to cousin's house and Leslie, their Maltese jumped up on us in greeting. Kena scratched on the thigh. T.T

Played with Megan and Janice for the rest of the night. There's Megan with the turtle ready to attack.

While I rode by on this. These things are fun! =D

Here's JB (Jellybean not Johor! Grrrr!). His butt is about to slip of the computer desk.

He's gambolling about me now, biting my mum's slipper. He'll get it from her in the morning.

He's so big now! He used to be so small he could only almost peep out from the mini barrel in the hall. Now, he can leap in and out of it in one jump!

Sigh, they grow up so fast...

Apparently, I have a new nickname besides the Queen. I'm now the Grim Reaper too. o.O

But I work for YY, the true evil one.

'Must wait till the (copper oxide reaction) turns black, like JJ's heart.'

...

......

.........

So bad!

Keel joo all!

Tomorrow got SDS, better sleep earlier or else half dead again.

Ciaoz from the GR,

~*JJ*~
