Our Lives Are Made

In these small hours,
These little wonders,
These twists & turns of fate

If you are a huge Disney lover like moi, or a Rob Thomas fan you'll probably find this song familiar. And if you have any good taste in music at all, you'll admit this is a great song. Not saying you have to like it, merely appreciate it.

Little Wonders by Rob Thomas is a Meet the Robinsons OST. And it's like one of the best Disney movies ever. EVER.

There were some huge plot holes that always annoyed me. Example: even if Goob was possibly traumatized when he was a kid, he couldn't ever become that stupid, like the Bowler Hat Guy in the future.

And wtf is with the moustache?! (Note that this is not a plot hole but just something that annoys me too)

But it was still really touching and incredible and inspirational and and and, I cried okay! Like T underscoreunderscore T cry!

Oh, but I just couldn't help myself at that part where Goob wonders off and Lewis picks up his pink Unicorn binder and he sees a ? next to the checkbox under what to do next.

SO SAD. T____T

I just love movies like that. Better than the other unbelievable happily ever after romance crap Disney churns out.

Well yeah, I did have my Disney Princesses phase too but it was never a really big hoo-ha. I was more into the excitement, music and talking animals than the romance. It's like on the one hand, you really wish the stuff those fairy tails could really come true; on the other hand, you know better.

Maybe that's why I prefer rom-coms. Something else to focus on rather than just plain mushiness and the romance is always more realistic. Well as real as Hollywood can get anyway.

But I digress.

I've always loved Disney movies because they do make some of the most entertaining and meaningful story lines I know. Most of my favourites can be found in this list.

Most of them I'm sure everyone is familiar with, like Sleeping Beauty, Lion King, Aladdin, Peter Pan and Fox and the Hound.

Some lesser known ones like Hunchback, Hercules, Sword in the Stone, Great Mouse Detective or Robin Hood.

Some I didn't know were under Disney like Spirited Away and National Treasure.

POTC don't even need me to tell you it was SQUEEE-tastic.

Some I don't quite like such as Tuck Everlasting, Snow White, Mary Poppins, Fantasia and Cars. Actually I think those are the only few.

Goodness knows why I ever bothered to remember Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. And the fact that I spelt it right the first time says something about my lifelessness too.

I think it was a challenge from an old friend actually. He could say it and I couldn't. Sooo... yeah.

The rest made me either sob or laugh uncontrollably at some point during the movie. And they always made me feel for the movie in the end.

See, I always viewed a good movie as something that somehow manages to touch you in one way or another. So no matter how it has touched you, whatever it made you learn, resolve, aspire, envision, sympathize, celebrate or anything that made you open your eyes and heart just a little bit more, I feel is a good movie.

That's why one seriously underrated one is Tru Confessions. I mentioned it before and I'll say it again.

MUST WATCH.

Least because it has Shia Lebouf in it. And his acting was awesome(sauce).

And Disney songs are the best. People who write them off simply and childish and swallow are just that themselves.

I shall end this raving with the MV of Little Wonders.

P.S.: Happy Birhtday Daddy!

(Yes, I intentionally spelt birthday wrong. Never mind, daddy will get it. :P)

Yummy Scents

I love a good scent.

Seriously, give me a nice fragrance and I'll sniff it the whole day.

Usually I prefer natural smells like flowers and rain and certain trees.

Sidenote: Omg, I was washing out my dog's poop tray yesterday and the spraying water made a very pretty rainbow!

Oh, and you know the freshly mowed lawn (or something like that) that Hermione described during their Amortentia lesson in Potions class?

Yeah, I don't really like that. Just smells weird to me. But I guess I could understand the new parchment thing because I love the smell when you flip through new books too. -___-

Anyways! Yeah, natural smells appeal to me best. But sometimes the artificially created ones are super addictive too.

Like that one my cousin uses. It's still top on my favourite artificial scent list.

He kindly showed it to me so that I could persuade a certain someone to buy it too.

Yeah, I also don't know why his bottle so small. I think it's his travelling one because he came to stay in the hotel with us for a few days.

This is the proper bottle for Dunhill Desire.

It. Is. The. Best. Scent. Ever. EVER. EVERRRR.

Ash can have her Hugo Boss.

Ok la, to be fair it probably smells super sexy too and they have a great ad.

The guy looks weird but the girl is I'll-turn-lesbian-for-you hot!

Some time ago, we made a trip to Sasa to see their Nipple Pinkening Cream. I know, total WTF-ish right? That's why we just HAD to see it.

Sasa really sells damn weird products lor. Go through their online catalogue and see for yourself.

Yeah so ok, we went there and saw many many other types of perfume!

I just luuuurve the packaging and bottling of some!

More Hugo Boss in water bottle-shaped er, bottles!

Vera Wang's. I heard the Princess one is supposed to be very nice!

Hmm, I think I lost the DKNY Be Delicious pic. Anyway, theirs is really apple scented and shaped like an apple la (duh).

Lol Marc Jacobs' Daisy with a bottlehead shaped like a Daisy.

Seriously, can these people get any more literal?

Ok, I've always been partial to Anna Sui's stuff. Not that I like the products, they seem the same as any other brand.

But look! So pretty!! Their stuff is always very pretty! I mean look! Butterflies!!!

Wariao, overdose of exclamation marks there.

But these scents all so expensive! Whole pocket burn already don't even talk about only a hole.

I shall confess a deep dark secret. Ok, not really that dramatic. Just that I hardly ever (EVER EVERRR) buy these stuff unless it is a gift from someone.

The scent I use now costs 6 bucks for a huge bottle but I shall not tell you what it is because it is MY SCENT. RAWR.

Which means I can spray copious amounts on myself (terpaksa coz perfume doesn't seem to stick to me for long) without feeling guilty.

Hehe, one spritz cost you 2 bucks but only costs me 2 cents. And nobody can really tell the difference anyway!

Ok, back to Sasa.

Like I said they sell seriously weird stuff here.

The famous F cup cookies in two different flavours that supposedly makes your boobies grow bigger. And the Pink Nipple cream beside it. -___-"

So expensive! Just to make your nipples pinker. Memerahjambukan them as Ash and Anna said.
And as that same certain someone said, nipples are nipples! Who cares what colour they are?

The name for this product is seriously omfgtehlol.

They are called Curvaceous Biscuits. And I'm guessing they make your body curvier lol.

(Now all the 'lapangan terbang' girls reading this sure wanna go buy liao.)

Ok this one is just gross. Eww....

But apparently it works quite well. Secondhand knowledge because I don't think I could bring myself to use it.

Summore I'm born in the year of the ram. T_T

Sasa also got cute things though.

The keychain opens into a mini mirror!

That's lipstick beeteedoubleyew.

Then the other day I went to S+J too.

I like that place because they have very interesting stuff and it's a great place to shop for gifts! So yeah, now you know where most of my presents come from. -.-

Anyway, I saw this.

Wah, so big! Like some unbalanced KLCC liddat. Imagine the number of earrings you can hang from it.

But cannot rotate wan, so bleh.

Aww, isn't this familiar? (Lol, this one inside story cannot tell. :P)

See? Interesting products also.

Looks uncomfortable though.

Clockwork toys! I've loved these ever since I read about them the first time in Enid Blyton!

But you don't see them much these days. All also battery operated liao.

Some more perfumes I saw at the LCCT. Aurora FTW!

Oh yeah, I forgot I finally bought this in S+J.

:DDDDDDDDD

Reasonable price: RM36 nia.

Now I gets to hang all my pretty stuff!

It's already 2 and a half sides full! And that's after a gave away some to my sister already.

That empty pair of holes you see are just a pair of studs I took out to be fixed.

Anyone care to donate a second earring stand when this one is full? :D

Drabble

Heylo!

Back, with more things to say whether you like it or not.

Firstly, I wish I could somehow NOT be present when our lecturers are giving back our exam marks.

Secondly, BOBBLEHEADS ROCK.

I totally forgot what's the name of this place (Little Taiwan? o.O) but the food is not too bad.

My mocha latte was niiice. :D

Though the mango juice is the weird thick type which no one actually likes.

My ducky noodles!

Presentation week for English!

For once, the boy wore formal! Mother is happy. C:

With slacks summore! Cute hor?????

I came on class half-asleep that day, and Yuen goes "OH MY GOD, SO CUTE!"

You are not to spazz over my outfit. Yes, I still can spazz over yours. Shoo.

I look veeeeeeery different according to Sir. =.=

Random reminder: Never order the miso soup at Sushi Tei again. Bluek.

Went for Jogoya, after like months. They've added some things to their buffet.

:D

Mei Mei! =)

My mei mei. :P

Their grilled mochi is to die for. So not exaggerating. Ok, maybe I am. But only a little!

Their glasses are weird. o.O

Haagen Daz Belgian Chocolate! Now THAT'S really to die for.

Wonder why I can't keep my diet? This isn't all the food we 11 people pluz 2 toddlers ate by the way, it is but the dishes from our final round.

The mural is finally done!

Yay!

And now that JB's hair has grown back a little, he look sooooooooo cute!

Like his puppy days!

Only thing is, he keeps making a ruckus everytime he catches a glimpse of me. Probably because I haven't taken him for his walks in over a week now.

Exams ok! D:

Laser beam eyes! *PIU PIU PIU!*

Ok lame. But it can't be helped, I might possibly be high on soda. =X

Oo oo, when you are studying for exams, cannot watch weight 1. No time to exercise but must snack to keep awake.

Neither is the stress good for complexion.

Plus, now we study not to gain knowledge but to pass these exams.

Therefore, exams = bad idea. We should just totally do away with it. Who's with me? :D

But still, here are some snackies to munch on while you're trying to cram a whole sem's worth of bio notes into your head.

Water crackers with melted cheese. Eat when the cheese is gooey, that's the best. =]

Famous Amos that the babe gave me. =)

POCKY RULEZ. MUST HAVE.

I just notice most of these snacks are chocolate. Hm...

Oh, and Pringles are coming up with seriously whacked out flavours.

That's the Dill Pickle and BBQ Chicken Wings ones.

I have learnt that I prefer my pickles as proper pickles and somewhere in the depths of my Subway sub.
Today we celebrated Sir's belated birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, old man SIR!

The movie we went to watch. Which was sweeeeeeet. :D

And helped us with our Bio reproductive chapter that we are having currently.

Three things:

Bulbasaur not bulbourethra
Blue penis instead of blue balls
Sticky like chewing gum or grape soda?

I suppose Sir does deserve some pity. =)

The other day, I was setting my playlist on shuffle and suddenly, an old song Dig It started to play.

It reminded me of the days where we sat in Pn Joyce's house and debated over literary plots and authors' intentions etc.

One of the novels we did for English Literature was Holes.

Read it. Seriously.

It is a cool book.

Disney even made it into a movie, starring Shia Labeouf.

If it's Disney and it had Shia in it, then you know it's awesome.

The movie followed the plot closely enough for me to be satisfied, because honestly, I can't stand those movies that go off in a totally different direction. *coughHarryPottercough*

But this was nice. Though Stanley wasn't fat, X-Ray wasn't skinny. Zero is still awesome. :P

And the guy that acted as him is super cute too! And his voice! Squeeeeeeee~!

These two songs are really good. In Dig It, you can hear Zero's voice! And he even gets a solo!

For If Only, you'd have to read the book or watch to understand the lyrics.

My favourite parts are the links between the past and the present timeline in the novel. But I haven't gotten the semi-sequel yet. D:

Another good movie that I random flicked on some afternoon:

It's not action packes nor drama-ridden but it's worth the watch.

Especially the teenage daughter and the estranged father bonding. So beautiful.

Yes, I cried.

Plus, it got me addicted to its emo country music. T______T

The daughter was played by Lindsey Haun who is so pretty!!!!

Right right?

Ok, she was three years ago in the movie. But she looks o.O now.

Broken and Broken Bridges (OST)

I just love the lyrics for these four songs. Lyrics are like the most important part to me. And these are just lovely.

Don't know why Blogger is being a bitch again and I can't upload the vids. Oh well, Youtube has them anyway.

Ok, need sleep.

Night world.

Lovezz,

~*JJ*~
