Hong Kong

Day 2 was in Disneyland.

Though the only real roller coaster was Space Mountain, it was pretty fun all the same. And clean. Super clean.

There was even a talking rubbish bin that followed people around!

Finishing up breakfast.

In the train.
It's a small world after aaallll~ It was colourful and lively inside!

Everyone crossing their arms! Don't know why though. Maybe we're all thinking angry thoughts simultaneously.
Though the Pooh ride was meant for kids, it was creative and fun all the same.

The parade!
Giant gingerbread man! Er, woman.

My favourite princess, Sleeping Beauty is on top! Yay!

Eeehhh...

Boat ride through a river.

Our guide had a pretty droning voice. Guess even she couldn't tell and story about a thousand times a day and still pretend to be interested in it.

After that, we shifted to the Royal Plaza Hotel.

Greedy people

I ate 'chou tou fu' (dunno how to spell la), and it was actually yummy! Kristin was exaggerating.

Oo oo, I got a new pair of boots there! And see the new bag I got from Disneyland? There's Mickey silhouettes all over it!

There was a panda named Jia Jia and another named Ying Ying. What are the odds? =D
Ocean Park the next day. We went to see pandas and aquariums and a performance. Compared to Disneyland, the rides were mediocre and the lines were way too long.

Makes me wish I could take vet science even more.
So many baubles! @.@

The Wax Museum at night. Eddie Murphy! *gasp* I can't find my Johnny Depp one!

To be continued,

So Long, Farewell

Time to say goodbye to 2008 and prepare for 2009.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Celebrated at the Desa Part City's Street Party. It was grand. Fire eaters, jugglers, games, fireworks, food, family, the works!

It's been an interesting year, with it's ups and downs. But then again, which year doesn't?

New Year's Resolutions:

-Stop procrastinating and be more responsible
-Study more consistently
-Get my P license ASAP
-Do something totally wild and new
-Travel to another country again
-Be more outgoing
-Recycle more
-Try not to add 'lose weight' to this list
-Stop guessing how long it will take for me to break this year's resolutions

There. Good luck to me! And everyone else with theirs!

The form fivers and sixers will be leaving school and starting another whole new life but I hope we can still stay in touch.

I'll really miss alot of you.

Finally got the photos from my Hong Kong trip.

Here are pictures from the first day.

Airport McDonald's might be better than usual, lol.

Mum actually deigned to eat fast food!

Took quite a few pics at the airport.

Camwhoring at the airport is a new one for me.
Decorations in our hotel, the Disney Hollywood Hotel.

Christmas decorations

Main Street

Sleeping Beauty's Castle, lol

Fireworks were nice but way too long.

We had supper here. The prices are mind-numbing, and not in a good way.

Breakfast.So many 'hidden mickeys'!

After breakfast, we went to Disneyland again. Next post.

Bless you all with a Happy New Year 2009!

Lotsa love,

~*JJ*~
P.S. : Got some souvenirs there!

Sleigh Bells

Merry Christmas, people!

Was at a christmas dinner last night and it was awesome. We ate and sang and exchanged presents and played with fireworks and just had fun together.

I got another musical christmas ornament. Same as last year but its Daffy Duck instead of Roadrunner. Since it's random pick, I think it's fated I should start a collection of these. Lol.

I also got a tattoo from my niece's Fun Pack! Temporary of course, and it's a Tigger tattoo. Good quality, hasn't faded at all yet and is still very pretty to look at.

Still loyal to Eeyore!

You can get them at Toy World which has really fun toys and is actually my cousin's shop. (heh, helping advertise)

Janice, the younger niece learnt a new song from our trip to Disneyland!

She's been singing 'It's A Small World' over and over again. And she's so proud of it!

Went shopping today. Love the new shoes! Turns out I'm a size 4, and I've been buying size 5's for years now. -__-

Will be doing Nutrition and Dietetics after all. Food is second best to animals after all. Speaking of animals, Jellybean is a big boy now!

Have a sudden craving for onigiri. 0.0 And turns out Asahi beer is yummy.

Hope everyone has enjoyed their christmas so far! Merry Xmas again and Happy Holidays!

Anyone watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua yet? :D Not that great actually.

Smiles all round,

P.S. : Stupid roach phobia... -.-

Choices choices

I really don't quite care anymore.

You know what? I'll just go be a fucking shopkeeper for a kedai runcit ok?

Parents are suggesting things like pharmacy and dentistry when all I really want to do is vet science.

JJ says:
summore dad suggested dentistry

I do not have some strange desire to see mouths dripping with saliva for the rest of my life thank you very much.

јоиатнаи says:
yea

јоиатнаи says:
bad breath

JJ says:
anyway

JJ says:
parents are deciding for me and frankly i just wanna get it overy with

JJ says:
so i'll just go push them into nutrition or something

јоиатнаи says:
swt

јоиатнаи says:
what are ur other options leh

јоиатнаи says:
tell me dentistry oso i laugh =.=

Yes, plus bad breath.

I really do feel like 'frankly i just wanna get it overy with'.

Probably try to choose something bio or animal related then get some job, send my sis off to uni by then and save up enough to open a pet shop. Maybe marine bio or nutrition.

And just heard mum suggesting Monash to dad downstairs. Now talking to her friend about universities. -.-

Off to insist on a decision tonight. No more 'you should keep your options open' crap.

Toodles,

~*JJ*~

P.S. : Hehe, discount for Mr. Mole on HUSKEHS at my shop but only if I get to eat free!

Stale Karma

I've been neglecting some things.

For example, the last time I went to the temple excluding Kathina and the Blessings was somewhere in September maybe?

And what I need now is to do a little bit of metta.

Been choosing courses and all that. I think I've to change my direction and take a different course as a backup as practically speaking, the course I want to take is not possible.

Unless I suddenly inherit a huge fortune. But that ain't gonna happen anytime soon so slash that idea.

Now looking through other options. Parents are pushing me to pharmacy but I really can't see myself doing that. FYI, there's a edu fair at Midvalley this Saturday.

Went to Penang and got fatter. D: Who can lose weight when you're taken to places like Lover's Lane for dinner? Better bring out my running shoes again.

Saw all my cousins and relatives. Their favourite pass time is to comment on body weight.

"Eh, ee san ki liao!"

"Boh lah, wu pui dam bo. Wa kua teo ee si bi ah Mei san!"

O.o

Hell uncomfortable.

Watched Bolt, I like Mittens! Heh.

And then did some shopping and bought 2 Esprit skirts, one of which was RM270. Didn't check the price properly. -.- Lucky there was a discount to 160 but it's still alot and mum's not happy.

JB is ok again! =D

And I really really need Sims 2. Have a sudden longing to play. -__-

Craving,

~*JJ*~

P.S. : Cheer up people! Smile and renew your hope everyday. =)

Here's some funny crap to cheer you up.
