A week has flown by but it was a pretty uneventful one.
Nothing to spazz/rant/blubber about.
Most of my friends won't even be here. Yuen is off in Melbourne for her Latin dancing preliminaries (ALL THE BEST, BABE!), Sam's back in Johor and Lee Wei is busy.
D:
Exams are coming, important ones. Perhaps I shall use my time to study instead.
Gasp, what a thought!
Excuse the retarded-ness. My mind has been wondering off lately. Guess it got bored of my life too.
Anyways, let's start it off with last week's grill/steamboat thing at my cousin's.
My cute nieces in their princess dresses!
The raw stuff. Our spoils from the grill :P
My sis is making the Loh Shi Fun.
For the steamboat, there were so many yummy sauces to add! And the chili sauce was spicy. Szzz.....
Those are the best types. =D
Ever tried grilling pinhead mushrooms with some sauce?
You should. Yum...
That night was a looooooooooong night. We talked till the sun came up. Literally.
It was about 5 before we decided to 'keep shop' and go to sleep.
By that time, dad was too tired to drive so we slept over.
The cause of the all-nighter. -.- My glass the smallest, so bad! D:
The next morning, we had to rush back for my SDS. Lol.
We celebrated a belated Teacher's Day for our awesome SDS Teacher Siok Hoon who has been with us for ages!
Debs, Ben and Leon came in with the surprise cake at 10.
Crystal (gah, too lazy to hyperlink your blogs today xP) brought out the scrapbook in which all of us pitched in.
Dear Teacher, hope you are happy! =)
The weekdays went by without much ado.
Oh wait! Forgot about the trial seminar presentation!
We had to do a practise round for out Academic English seminar presentation. Instead of individually like the real thing, she put us in groups.
Yuen and I chose the topic Gay Marriages Should Be Legalized. (It should!)
But we totally forgot that Ms S is a super devoted Christian. And as we know, most of the opposition against gay marriages are those from religious views.
Soooo, our topic wasn't all that well received by her.
Plus, I think she has that really wrong idea of me and Yuen. With all that hugging and talk about gays.
I'm straight I tell you! I like guys! D:
And so does Yuen! .... I think. :P
Went to watch Night At The Museum 2 on Friday with Chew.
It was pretty funny, though the first one was still better.
I was actually prompted to watch because I heard that the Jonas Brothers were in it as the cherubs in the fountain.
But it was worth it all the same. Plus, Chew belanja me. Hee...
At Arrios, which turned out to be not too bad. :D
The bad guy had a lisp, lol. Not that I'm laughing at people who have lisps, but it did decrease the evilness of Kahmunrah by like 70%.
Hee hee...
After that, went to Rock Cafe with the others.
Fooled around with Chew's camera for abit. xD
Customary pic with Jo. =)
Just so you know, Rock Cafe's food is expensive and not all that tasty. Plus, the service sucks.
Took them nearly half and hour to serve us our coke.
Made us wonder if they were actually looking for the raw materials and concocting the coke while we waited. -.-
Because of the slow service, I got back later than usual and got reprimanded by Dad.
Better be a good girl and come home earlier next time. D:
Next day had Bio from 9-5 too. Tired....
I brought my lappy, Desiree and typed the notes right in. xD
Sam's drawing of the root (I hate plants chapters! D:) which Sir says resembles a carrot. :D
I still didn't get what's the big deal and ate a whole chunk of it just to prove it.
The others were anxiously waiting with cameras to catch my reaction.
Nyeh! Sorry to disappoint you guys. Haha.
Ate Baskin Robbin's after that. Stupid guy at the counter mixed up my order and gave me a cone.
Blah, whatever. Still nice since it is Pistachio Almond. =D
Sir got me addicted to Basilisk! I spent the rest of the day finishing the manga and now am craving for the anime!
This is bad! I must studiiiii~!
That day was also my cousin, Bee Sien's birthday.
Small celebration only.
With Black Forest cake. Yosh!
Megan is very semangat about birthdays.
She has this love of blowing candles and opening presents and makes sure she participates in every celebration, regardless of whose birthday it is.
xD
Today, sis and I were at Curve then Ikano while waiting for parents who went to Ikea.
God knows how often they can walk Ikea without getting bored.
Ikano had a miniature bird park thing going on, so we went to check it out.
And saw lots of pretty birds!
Too bad to take a picture with them, you gotta cough up 10 bucks. =.="
Owl!
Colourful....
Lookit! Cute, fluffy chicks!
Went for steamboat dinner at Waterfront.
I like that place. The food is good. :9
Big sister feeding little sister. Aww....
The devil pair. :P
Sister! Who is currently obsessing over Cheer which I don't mind that much because it's fun and friendly and will look good on her college application.
If only she didn't come back covered in bruises all the time.
She's like me, she bruises easily too. D:
And it's taking up so much of her time, I wonder if it's alright.
Oh well... Her choice ultimately.
Got to sleep, feeling tired for some reason today.
Lethargic,
~*JJ*~
P.S.: Redecorated. Again. :P
But I haven't been playing RC so much lately.
Busy with other things.
Also got bored of it already. :P
Yes, I get bored fast.
